Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at contact@inwrd.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We recommend starting with INWRD Body. This is a dynamic, Hatha practice that builds on foundational poses, helping you develop strength, alignment, and understanding of the postures. INWRD Body is also slightly cooler, typically heated to 35–37.5°C.

INWRD Bliss is also suitable for beginners, offering a slower, Yin/Restorative experience focused on relaxation and deep rest. This is our coolest class, heated to 30–32.5°C.

No, we provide yoga mats and props for all of our classes. However, you're welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

We recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. INWRD Energy and INWRD Insight classes can reach temperatures of over 40°C, so you may prefer to wear shorts.

Our classes are heated to different temperatures depending on the style of practice:

INWRD Bliss: 30–32.5°C

INWRD Body: 35–37.5°C

INWRD Rise: 35–37.5°C

INWRD Energy: over 40°C

INWRD Insight: over 40°C

We kindly ask that you cancel at least 2 hours before your class, so someone else has the opportunity to take your space. If you have paid for a drop-in, 5 or 10 Class Pass or Mini Membership you will receive a refund or receive back your class credit.

Cancellations made within 2 hours of the class start time are non-refundable, and class credits will not be returned.

Unfortunately no.

It's a question we're asked quite often.

At INWRD, our classes aren't built around one fixed sequence. Instead, every class is thoughtfully designed around the Koshas—the five layers of our being—recognising that yoga is about much more than physical movement alone.

Our founder created INWRD with the belief that strength begins within. Every class reflects that philosophy, blending intelligent movement, breathwork and moments of stillness to support the body, mind and nervous system. The sequencing evolves with the intention of each class, the season, and the people in the room.

We have respect for the Bikram series and the discipline it offers, and we know many people enjoy practising it. It's simply not the style of yoga we have chosen to build our community around at this time.

If you're looking for a studio where every class is unique, intentional and rooted in traditional yogic philosophy while still challenging the body, you'll feel right at home at INWRD.
