I’ve been teaching yoga for over a decade, and my passion lies in interoception — helping people get to know their bodies better. My work is about moving INWRD, encouraging curiosity, self-study and awareness, known in yoga as svādhyāya.
I completed my initial yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, with Vinyasa Yoga School, where I developed a strong foundation in traditional yogic practice. I’ve taught yoga around the world, but it was in gyms, studios, hot yoga studios and community spaces across Nottingham that my teaching really developed. Working with a wide range of people and bodies shaped my belief that yoga should be practical, inclusive and adaptable. I later moved to the South West, where I continue to teach and evolve my work.
My teaching is mainly rooted in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Restorative yoga, with a strong emphasis on mindful movement, nervous system support and body awareness. In 2022, I qualified as an Aerial Yoga Teacher with Flow Move Aerial Yoga, bringing an additional playful and supportive dimension to my teaching. In 2023, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy with The Minded Institute, alongside specialist CPD in Yoga Therapy for Chronic Pain and Yoga Therapy for Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
Alongside my yoga work, I have a background in children’s social care and education settings, which deeply informs how I work. I’m highly skilled in trauma-informed approaches, prioritising choice, safety and trust in every session.
I love movement in all its forms, particularly Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit, and I’m passionate about how yoga can support these modalities and other sports. I enjoy helping people use yoga to move better, recover well and build resilience alongside their training.
I also offer 1:1 yoga therapy sessions for adults and children, specialising in working with children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth and centred on supporting people to feel more connected, capable and at home in their bodies — both on and off the mat.
